Maybe you could call it a perfect circle

This book documents various experiments and elaborations utilizing segments and portions of LIFE Magazine. Using vintage issues as the source material and a circle cutter as the tool, collages were assembled to explore one shape, the circle, and the ways this form can be used in multiples and in conjunction with imagery.

The collages eventually progress both inward and outward. Several experiments were made containing the forms with the original source pages. More complex experiments involved applying the forms to pattern templates. The continuations of the original experiment intent to expand and showcase the possibilities of form-making.
